the attic is where i spend more of my time when i’m at the house. pretty much every cable for the first floor runs up into it, then down. it is hands down the most unpleasant place in the house. its either way too hot or too cold, depending on what you DON’T want at the time. the blown insulation gets kicked up after a while of working up there, necessitating my respirator . the boards are covered in fiberglass, which embeds into my forearms as i’m crawling around up there commando-style to drill holes and hammer in nails.
but hey, at least i finally put a lightbulb up there. this picture makes it look kinda cozy.
