God I can’t get enough of this system. So after a few heavy spring rainfalls, we realized that we needed to do something serious with the pump. It was kicking water out, sure, but the pipe wasn’t long enough, and all that water came right back in. One big perpetual waterfall that was sucking down energy.
So we got a longer pipe and ran it down the back of the yard. Maybe someday I’ll bury it or come up with a [more] sophisticated system.
